Charter jet operator to move headquarters to Greenleigh

January 24, 2022

GrandView Aviation recently leased 18,000 square feet for a new headquarters at Greenleigh in eastern Baltimore County.

Greenleigh, which stretches across 1,000 acres of formerly undeveloped land in Middle River, kicked off five years ago under a partnership headed by St. John Properties. The mixed-use development has office, retail, residential and hotel components and will soon hold main offices for GrandView’s 120 employees at 425 Williams Court. An additional 100 workers are expected to be added to the private jet company’s payroll under the expansion including more pilots, flight dispatchers and mechanics.

GrandView’s new headquarters will sit about three miles from Martin State Airport, a hub for several private charter flights. The firm has had an office at the small airport located off Interstate 95 for years.

The company’s revenue topped $50 million in 2022 and it has been on the Inc. 5000 list of the nation’s fastest-growing companies for several years. It had been based at 701 Wilson Point Road, also in Middle River.

The charter jets flown by GrandView Aviation are Phenom 300 and in Baltimore, GrandView has a small fleet of helicopters for charter, some of which are used for organ transplant transportation. Besides Baltimore, the company has offices for jet charters in Boston, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, Austin, Phoenix and Denver. GrandView logged 11,000 flight hours of flight time in 2021, according to its website.
